Springfield Farmers Market Spring Kick-Off

Saturday, March 25, will begin the Farmers Market season in Springfield. It’s always free to attend but organizers recommend bringing cash or a card to purchase from local vendors. Find fresh produce, and locally made goods, and immerse yourself with farmers from the Ozarks from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Route 66 Record Show

Check out the largest record show in Southwest Missouri Sunday March 26 at the Relics Event Center. More than 50 vendors will feature thousands of LPs, CDs, 45s, 78s, music memorabilia and more. Admission is $5 which admits you for the entire event, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

HBA Home & Outdoor Living Show 2023

Whether you’re a new homeowner or fixing up your own, this show will host home professionals to make the process easier. This event will run March 24-26 at the Springfield Expo Center. Cost of admission is $7, and $6 for those age 65 and older. Children under twelve are admitted free. Tickets are currently available for purchase at HBASpringfield.com.

Stone Valley Vintage Market

Several local vendors are selling vintage, shabby chic, farmhouse, antiques, boutiques, handmade and more items April 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event will be held at The Barn at Stone Valley Plantation. Admission is $5 per person 16 and older.

Vintage Market Days of NW Arkansas

More than 120 vendors from 15 states will bring plenty of things to shop for March 31-April 2 at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Kite and Piñata Festival

Get a dose of spring at this fun event at the Springfield Botanical Gardens! Bring a kite to fly on the great lawn or purchase a kite kit to build and decorate one at the event. Kids can line up to whack a piñata nearby. Browse vendors and a mini market featuring Japanese and Mexican snacks, candies, beverages, and souvenirs. This event highlights Springfield’s sister city relationship with Isesaki, Japan, and Tlaquepaque, Mexico. This event runs all day on April 1.

Ozarks Beerfest 2023

The region’s largest beer festival is returning to the Ozarks. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door, which includes unlimited beer and food samples and a tasting glass. This event runs Saturday, April 1, from 1-4 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center. Besides beer and food, games, contests, a raffle, cornhole, and live music will also be featured.

Easter at the Farm

Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park is hosting a free family event to celebrate Easter! Expect arts and crafts, games, a visit with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter Egg Hunt with candy for kids ages 12 and under. Bring your own baskets, but please, no cellophane basket filler – it’s bad for farm animals. This event kicks off on April 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Springfield Conservation Nature Center’s Native Plant Sale

The annual native plant sale will be on Saturday April 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nature Center. A large selection of native annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and vines will be available to purchase. Gardening demonstrations will be hosted through the event, including: Gardening for Birds, Shade Plants, Rain Gardening and Best Bugs. 11th Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza

Finley River Park in Ozark is celebrating Easter with a free family-fun event. Saturday April 1 from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m., crafts, face painting, several inflatables, yard games, and egg hunts for all age groups will be featured. Parking will be located at the 4H Center, in designated grass areas, and along the thoroughfare in the park.

Spring Tulip Festival

Immerse yourself in spring at the tulip gardens at Baker Creek in Mansfield. Admission is free but parking is $15 per car. Arkansas State Chili Cook-Off

The 7th annual Arkansas State Chili Championship is being held at the Holiday Island Country Club on Saturday, April 22. Numerous chili cooks from around the country will compete for $3,000 in 4 categories: Red Chili, Chili Verde, Homestyle, and People’s Choice. The winners will get to compete in the World Chili Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. in September, where the Red Chili Champion wins $15,000! Spectators at the AR State Chili Championship can taste as much chili as they want and vote for their favorite. The chili cook with the most votes will be crowned the People’s Choice Champion. Admission to the event is $8 and a can of soup. The public tasting is from 12:30 to 4 PM. proceeds benefit A Cup of Love Ministry, which feeds the hungry in Eureka Springs. In the past 6 years, this event has raised over $25,000 for local charities.

Annual Earth Day Cleanup at Lake Springfield

The James River Basin Partnership will be hosting their annual Earth Day cleanup on Saturday April 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lake Springfield. This event is free and will include cleaning of the shoreline, lake, and river. Pre-registration is required and will officially open March 1. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy lake activities following the event.

Christian County Plant Sale

2023 Corndog Kickoff

Get your Fair Food Fix at the 2023 Corndog Kickoff!
